Eagles Open Super League Business with Naomi Farrington

🦅 SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT | Cavan Eagles Women's Super League 2026/27

We're delighted, and more than a little excited, to announce our FIRST signing ahead of the 2026/27 Women's Super League season… Irish underage international Naomi Farrington! 🟢⚪

Naomi is a 5'11" guard and one of the brightest young talents in Irish basketball, joining the Eagles from Tolka Rovers. She's currently part of the Ireland Under-18 Women's National Team squad, preparing to represent her country at the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket in Romania later this summer.

Bringing that international pedigree, athleticism and ambition to Virginia is a real statement of intent for our Super League side and exactly the standard we want to keep building, season on season.

Head Coach John Stephens said: "We're delighted to welcome Naomi to the Eagles. Following an outstanding National League season, she has established herself as one of the country's brightest young talents. She's a great addition, and we're looking forward to seeing her make her mark in the Super League. It's an exciting season ahead."
