Two of Our Own: Cara Costello and Nnenna Okosisi Step Up to the Super League

We are proud to welcome two of our own to the Women's Super League squad for 2026/27: Cara Costello and Nnenna Okosisi! 🟢⚪

Cara and Nnenna are home-grown Eagles players who have come up through our juvenile teams and our Pathways programme, and who now step up to the Super League.

Both were pivotal players for our Under-16 team last season, and their progression to the Super League is exactly what this club is all about: giving our young players a clear pathway all the way from the academy to the Super League floor.

It's a proud moment for the players, their families, and everyone who has coached and supported them along the way.

Head Coach John Stephens said: "Bringing Cara and Nnenna into the Super League squad is hugely exciting for us. They've earned this through their hard work coming up through the club, and they're exactly the kind of young, hungry players we want around our group. To see players we've developed ourselves stepping onto the Super League floor is what it's all about, and I've no doubt they'll grab the opportunity with both hands. We're delighted to have them on board."
